My Weekend trip to Caracas Venezuela

These are flowers that my friend Humberto had for me waiting in the house when we got there.

He is a good cook and made me pork chops with a very sweet sauce, rice with a little pasta, and broccoli with a nice cheese sauce.

The second night he made a traditional Venezuelan soup.  It had meat and lots of different vegetables, including potato, carrots, onions, yucca, and other things I can't pronounce.

Here is a pic of us at the airport when I had to leave.  My eyes are very dark from crying about my dog Bear.

  1. Be patient with yourself. It's okay to grieve for your Bear. Did you really go all the way to Venezuela for a week-end?

    1. It was supposed to be for 2 weeks, but I found out I had to put my dog to sleep and came home asap. I'm glad I did. She only lasted 2 days after I got home.

  2. Our pooches are 8 and 4 years old. We dread the day when they will pass over the rainbow bridge. We grieve with you.

  3. I'm sorry for your loss. We love them so much, I still miss my Duchess.
I am a single women living in Eastern Oregon planning to buy a small rv to begin traveling in. Something of a learning curve for me. I liked finding another Oregonian looking to do the same thing.

    1. Hi Lindsey,
Thank you for the post. It is hard to deal with the death of a 4 legged baby, but I'm doing ok.
I'm looking for an RV. I try to read as many RV blogs and RV sites as I can. I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Why don't you send me an email. curvywoman2@yahoo.com Julie
