Buddy is going to be 17 years old in April.  He will be a good traveling companion if he can live long enough for me to get my RV and we get on the road.

I have another dog she is a 10 year old Rottweiler.  I will get a pic of her up soon.  I don't think she will be a good RV dog, which is part of the reason I haven't got my RV yet!  She has calmed down lately though so I'm really thinking my RV adventures might start sooner than I thought!

  1. Buddy is a cutie. 17 is a good long life for our furbuddies. I will let you know that you will not be allowed in very many RV parks with a Rottweiler regardless of how wonderful she is. Just a heads up for you.

Welcome to the wonderful word of RVing. Looking forward to following along on your journey.

Just a suggestion - you really do want to get rid of word verification on your comment section. Many people will not longer comment on a blog with that on. If you need help getting rid of it, let me know - my e-mail is sdjdixon@gmail.com.

  2. A chihuahua and a rottie - now there's a picture you should do side by side! Buddy looks like a sweetie. Sandie is right - most parks have breed restrictions and rottweilers are most often one of the exclusions. My sister had two rotties and they were wonderful sweet dogs but that doesn't cut any ice with parks. It's usually because of insurance restrictions. There are still places you can stay, just be sure you check it out ahead of time so you aren't disappointed.
